Rock Crusher Collab Bundle Proposition

Hi, I’m FVS, the solo dev of Rock Crusher.

I plan to release the game on August 18, 10 AM PDT (unannounced), and I would like to setup a Steam bundle with your game. More details below. But first, a brief introduction about my game.

About Rock Crusher

About the game

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3456800/Rock_Crusher/

Rock Crusher is a short (4-5 hours to beat) incremental game that features a huge skill tree as the main mean of progressing the game.

Coverage and marketing plan

Rock Crusher is sitting at 2.1K outstanding wishlists at the moment.

Early demo of the game was covered by Wanderbots, Idle cube, PC Gamer,…

I plan to release a final demo on August 1, announce the launch date and send preview copies to YouTubers soon after that.

About the collaboration

What we will do

Setting up a bundle that includes 2 games, Rock Crusher and yours.

We’ll discuss other details like discount and stuff.

What I benefits I look for

Here are the motivations for me to propose this collab plan:

  • More buying options for my players
  • Traffic from your games

And I believe that’s also what you can get from this collab.

What I will do

On the announcement post on the launch day I’ll mention all the collab bundles, this is not an obligation in exchange for the collab but for my own good (as showing players all the buying options have can increase the chance they’ll buy my game).

Special collab

The baseline

Steam only shows 3 bundles at a time in a game’s page. They mostly pick the top selling bundles. But in my experience, there are still other factors, like they will tend to promote newly created bundle. Also, the window they use to calculate “top selling” is not life time. Plus our bundles can show up in the search, and again I’ll mention the bundle in the post. So, just by being in a bundle we can increase the visibility of our games over time, here and there.
